After just one day in the app store, we are popping up in top paid lists all over the world. In Portugal we are even the number one paid app overall! So thank you all for that! We are putting together an update that will make the new apps compatible with older iOS versions. There will also be some little things that users have given us feedback on. In the meanwhile we hope you enjoy the World Cup.

As promised, here is a combined screenshot of the new My Football PRO update. As you can see we gave the apps a big graphical upgrade. The new look and feel is now more football oriented. We hope you like it! We are still waiting for apple to review the apps, let’s hope we don’t have to wait much longer.

We are busy completing the new versions of My Football (PRO) and My Soccer (PRO) which are scheduled to replace the current 2009 – 2010 apps. We plan to release the new versions in june. But don’t worry, we won’t disable the older versions right away.

The new editions will feature a big GUI update, making the look and feel more football oriented. We also upgraded the general usability of the apps to make the navigation easier and more logical.

Yes, it’s fast but we had to respond to this one. We received notice of a bug in My Football PRO from a very clever user. It seemed that devices that were set to use arabian language settings were faced with the app switching into offline mode and 101 errors when trying to save the PUSH settings. This new update should fix those things.

We just released update 1.2.3 for My Football PRO and My Soccer PRO. This update contains some fixes for the occurring memory problems. The app could crash when scrolling through a list or just trying to receive data. This should be fixed now. There is also a new memory warning that alerts you that there is not a lot of free memory for the app to use. This could result in a sudden crash of the application. A solution for clearing the memory of your device can be a simple reboot.

We are also busy tweaking our PUSH service to handle the vast stream of push messages that are sent on a daily basis.

Again we would like to ask the users to send us an email in case they have a problem with the app instead of writing about it in an appstore review or on a forum. Unfortunately we don’t have the time to search the web for these posts in order to provide everyone with a satisfying answer. We try our best to make this app great, and if there are real problems, then we will do our very best to solve them in an update.

Our prayers have been answered.. The new updates for My Football PRO and My Soccer PRO have been accepted in the iTunes store. We hope that adding the push functionality will give a new impulse to worldwide football and iPhone fans! You can activate push notfications for the teams you are following through the ‘My Teams’ tab. Off course the leagues should have live functionalities. We just uploaded the binaries for the new versions of My Football PRO and My Soccer PRO. All we can do now is wait for Apple to review the updates and then you can all enjoy the PUSH functionality. We also changed the live match page. It now displays the match minute and score simultaneously. And some of the tips you get when you visit a section for the first time have been translated in Dutch (we had some questions about that). We’ll let you know when it comes online!

UPDATE: Since our first upload, the binaries have been rejected because of something we put in the new app description. We immediately reuploaded the binaries and changed the description. That is now also about a week ago. We are just as anxious as anyone to see this update live in the appstore, let’s keep our fingers crossed!
