New My Football Apps are a huge succes!

After just one day in the app store, we are popping up in top paid lists all over the world. In Portugal we are even the number one paid app overall! So thank you all for that! We are putting together an update that will make the new apps compatible with older iOS versions. There will also be some little things that users have given us feedback on. In the meanwhile we hope you enjoy the World Cup.

    There are no costs attached to push notifications. This service is provided by Apple. We send the messages to Apples servers, which then push the message to your device.

    Will there be an iPad version?
    If so, when and what extra features will it have?

    @Jeff, we are not sure about making an iPad version. We have thought about making one, and the features it should / could have but sofar I can’t say anything about it. But if there will be an iPad version, we’ll be sure to let everyone know.

    @Niels, You really should make an iPad version. It would be great for all those people who love your app but use the iPad. I notice when looking at team icons on my iPad using My Football Pro 2 they display in a high resolution, but text and other images look fuzzy. If an iPad version is not on the cards, is there at least a chance you could update some of the art (such as what you see when you first open the app) to a high resolution version so iPhone 4 and then iPad users could benefit? I think atleast upgrading some of the app to iPhone 4 resolution would make everything look much better on the iPad.

    @Simon, we will surely adapt the graphics of our apps for use on the new higher resolution display of the iPhone 4. Working on that right now. And indeed, the iPad users will also benefit from that. I’ll post a new message when the new version becomes available.
